"An episodic anthology that will follow individual characters from the The Walking Dead TV universe, both new and old." -IMDb
Another series from The Walking Dead universe. So far, there has been two episodes.
Episode 1: "Joe (Terry Crews), a lonely man who has been living in a bunker since the beginning of the apocalypse, leaves the safety of his home to embark on a 700 mile road trip to meet with a former online friend. On the road, he encounters Evie (Olivia Munn), who joins him on a similar mission" - Wikipedia
Episode one delivered the goods with action, good characters, and plenty of zombies. Looking forward to more episodes. Will be revising this post every week. 3 out of 5 stars.
Episode 2: "In a fast-paced, reality-twisting buddy-action heist, a disgruntled receptionist and her overbearing boss are trapped together as the city of Atlanta collapses under the Walker Apocalypse, forcing them to work together in order to escape the city." - Google search.
Episode two is like a Freddy Krueger scene happening over and over again. At first I was asking where are the walkers? Then, finally there were some, so the episode redeemed itself. 2.5 out of 5 stars.
"Upon escaping after decades of imprisonment by a mortal wizard, Dream, the personification of dreams, sets about to reclaim his lost equipment."-IMDb
At first I did not know where the series was going but it does a great job introducing the characters and storyline. Great performances on the cast all around. A must watch! 4 out of 5 stars.
"Follows the USS Pennsylvania as Riley and crew survive the apocalypse in the submarine." -IMDb
A mini, mini, mini series of 5 episodes totaling about 34 minutes or so. You can watch it during one short sitting. It is entertaining, especially for fans of The Walking Dead universe.
Somehow a virus is on board a submarine infecting the crew as one by one they begin to turn into zombies. Next, they fight the dead and each other.
Do anyone survives? If so, where would they go next? Stay tuned... 3 out of 5 stars
"In First Kill, when it's time for teenage vampire Juliette to make her first kill so she can take her place among a powerful vampire family, she sets her sights on a new girl in town named Calliope. But much to Juliette's surprise, Calliope is a vampire hunter, from a family of celebrated slayers. Both find that the other won't be so easy to kill and, unfortunately, way too easy to fall for."- Deadline via IMDb
This young adult vampire series is pretty good and kept me interested from episode one until the end of the 8 episodes which I watched in two days. It also has cameos by zombies, ghouls, and werewolves. And it's really a love story deep down. I give it 4.5 out of 5 stars. Have you seen it? What do you think of it?
"In a town full of secrets, a group of teenagers are stalked by a mysterious killer a year after a fatal accident on their graduation night."-IMDb
This #horror #slasher #mystery series is an okay adaptation of the movie that had the potential of being good. I liked the way it starts with someone getting run over and killed by a car driven recklessly on a dark road at night coming from a drinking teenage party. This was similar to the movie, except that it goes downhill, little by little, from that moment. An attractive cast and setting in Hawaii is spot on. Only watch it if you're a fan of the movie(s) and want to see a different take on the storyline. And spoiler alert (no hook fisherman is in this one). 3 out of 5 stars and I'm being a bit generous because I love the franchise. (LOL).
"It was a normal school day for the students of a Korean high school-until a student returns from the school's science lab, infected by an unknown virus. As the infection spreads out of school and throughout the peninsula, the Military desperately interrogates the psychotic science teacher who started it all, while his students struggle to survive until help arrives."-IMDb
If you like zombies, you will love this entertaining South Korean horror zombie action series on Netflix. Think of it as "Train to Busan" but at a high school. 5 out 5 stars.
"Four years after the Rising, the government starts to rehabilitate the Undead for reentry into society, including teenager Kieren Walker, who returns to his small Lancashire village to face a hostile reception, as well as his own demons."-IMDb
An outstanding zombie drama horror series. It deals with everyday issues & how society treat individuals just because they're different. Topics include discrimination, depression, PTSD and more. Good cast & superb creative writing. 5 out of 5 stars
"Life is hard. Dead isn't any easier."
"After their father is murdered under mysterious circumstances, the three Locke siblings and their mother move into their ancestral home, Keyhouse, which they discover is full of magical keys that may be connected to their father's death. As the Locke children explore the different keys and their unique powers, a mysterious demon awakens - and will stop at nothing to steal them. From Carlton Cuse and Meredith Averill, Locke and Key is a coming-of-age mystery about love, loss, and the unshakable bonds that define family." -Netflix
Just finished watching season 2 of this entertaining horror fantasy drama Netflix series. Creative writing and a great cast. Looking forward to future seasons. So far I give it 4 out of 5 stars.
"A Christmas vacation turns into a nightmare for a teenager and her family when they discover an ancient menace that stalks their island getaway."-IMDb
This series hooked me right up from the beginning and I binged watched all six episodes. Though this is supposed to be family friendly, I wouldn't recommend for children under thirteen. I liked the storyline involving evil elves but the characters drove me crazy at times, especially the 13 year old kid and her decisions. I give it a 3 out of 5 stars.
