⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ for Eddie J. Morales' Haunted by Life.
"Not only did I understand from personal experience(s) a lot of the story, but the descriptions put you there in this story. The twists are amazing, leaving you not being able to put it down until you know what happens! Great read. Thank you Eddie!" - Temple Terrace
"Set in the present day, The Living Dead is an entirely new tale, the story of the zombie plague as George A. Romero wanted to tell it.
It begins with one body.
A pair of medical examiners find themselves battling a dead man who won't stay dead.
It spreads quickly.
In a Midwestern trailer park, a Black teenage girl and a Muslim immigrant battle newly-risen friends and family. On a US aircraft carrier, living sailors hide from dead ones while a fanatic makes a new religion out of death. At a cable news station, a surviving anchor keeps broadcasting while his undead colleagues try to devour him. In DC, an autistic federal employee charts the outbreak, preserving data for a future that may never come."
Personally, the story started strong, losing steam a bit while introducing lots of characters. However, it picks up towards the end leaving you wanting more. Looking forward to find out where the writing goes with the continuation of the story. I give it 4 out 5 stars.

In Legion Hospital, Christian encounters the ghosts of his past, faces up to the things he has done, and sees a horrifying secret revealed. And then the nightmare really begins ... A terrifying story of retribution and revenge." - Amazon
The author does a good job building the suspense into the dark unknown. The adult subject matter of this horror short story becomes shocking once the secret of the past is revealed. 4 out of 5 stars.
